Sharon Freeman

Sharon joined the trust as Chief Financial Officer in 2020, bringing 18 years of experience in education finance. She has worked across all phases of education, including special schools, and has supported trusts of various sizes.

A Fellow Member of the AAT, Sharon also holds the CIPFA Diploma in School Finance and Operational Leadership and is accredited by the Department for Education as a School Resource Management Advisor. Additionally, she is a certified Contract Manager. Passionate about continuous professional development, she actively champions CPD within her field.

Sharon firmly believes that a well-supported finance team plays a crucial role in enabling the trust and its academies to create the best opportunities to empower their pupil’s success.
